Yesterday, Billie J. Farrell, the 77th Commanding Officer of USS Constitution, climbed up the towering pulpit as the keynote speaker and honoree at Old North Church & Historic Site 's "Lanterns and Luminaries" event. Me and my son were just there last week

I loved waking up on or next to this beauty.

Family lore has it that Joseph Pettee, nephew of my ancestor Samuel Pettee, cast the first anchor for Constitution at his foundry in CT.
