Reference Request

Please email us to request information from the resources at the Samuel Eliot Morison Memorial Library using the guidelines below.

Because of limited staff, we are unable to undertake extensive research; a visit to the Library may be required. Patrons are encouraged to make their requests through email. However, due to the overwhelming amount of requests received daily from all sources, Library staff respond to all requests in the order in which they are received. Therefore, in some instances it may take up to four weeks before you receive a reply.

Please send your email to Library@ussconstitutionmuseum.org with the subject name REFERENCE REQUEST. Please include the following information in your email.

- IMPORTANT! Be sure to make REFERENCE REQUEST the subject name of the email

- First and Last name

- Have you consulted the FAQ portion of our site?

- What sources have you already consulted (so we do not duplicate)?

- Write your question in the email using complete sentences and be as clear and concise as possible.
