The crew of USS Constitution is scheduled to host their annual Easter sunrise service aboard the ship in Dry Dock 1 on Sunday, April 16. This non-denominational service is open to the general public, free of charge. Guests will be allowed to board Constitution at 6:45 a.m. with seating available on a first come, first serve basis. All guests age 18 and older are required to show a valid state or federal-issued photo I.D. or passport to board the ship. The service is scheduled to commence at 7:15 a.m. and will conclude with the Constitution crew’s observance of morning colors at 8 a.m.. The service will be led by Lt. Matthew Drayton, a U.S. Navy chaplain assigned to U.S. Coast Guard Base Boston. Constitution’s Executive Officer Lt. Cmdr. Timothy R. Anderson will act as the master of ceremonies.
