Presidents Day ‘Built to Win’ Challenge

On Presidents Day, George Washington puts you to the test: can your family design and build a winning warship? Our first President authorized the construction of USS Constitution. In that spirit, join us on Monday, February 21 at 2:00pm to learn about the ship’s unique design and construction. You’ll tour the Ship and then complete your own challenge: build a ship from household materials that is both strong and fast, like “Old Ironsides.” We’ll race the ships and declare a victor.

Built to Win is designed with precautions to ensure a safe and engaging experience. Participants are asked to follow the City and Museum’s COVID-19 policies, including wearing a mask for the duration of the program.

This program costs $5.00 per child (ages 10-18) and $10.00 per adult (ages 18+). Program fees include admission to the Museum before the program. Questions? Contact us at teachered@usscm.org.
