Family Firepower
Join us on Sunday, July 18 from 3:00 – 4:30pm to experience USS Constitution in a new way– as recruits on her historic gun crew! Participating families will learn about the tools and teamwork required to make USS Constitution a successful warship, both at the Museum and on the Ship with a U.S. Navy sailor. This training will then be put to the test with a mock gun drill on the Ship. Recommended for youth age 10 and up and their families.
Family Firepower is designed with precautions to ensure a safe and engaging experience. Participants are asked to follow the Museum’s visitor policies and unvaccinated participants are asked to wear masks for the duration of the program.
This program costs $5.00 per child and $10.00 per adult. Program fees include admission to the Museum before the program, as well as supplies to make and fire your own Alka-Seltzer® Cannons at home after the program.
Space is limited and registration is required for this in-person program. Please complete a registration form below by Friday, July 16. After registration, you will receive an email confirming your place and instructions for the day of the program. Questions? Contact us at teachered@usscm.org.
