Thank a Vietnam Veteran
Join the Museum and Operation Gratitude as we say thank you to Vietnam era veterans!
On Wednesday, August 4 from 10:00am-5:00pm, visitors have the opportunity to make a life-saving paracord bracelet and write a thank you message for these veterans. These functional and meaningful tokens of appreciation will be distributed to Vietnam era veterans in the community and at the upcoming underway cruise on USS Constitution in late August. Stop by the Museum to give back and make an impact for our local veterans.
What is a paracord bracelet? These survival bracelets are made of 7.5 feet of parachute cord that can hold 550 pounds and serve a number of uses in an emergency. Operation Gratitude’s goal is to include one of these life-saving bracelets in each care package distributed to those who serve.
