The USS Constitution Museum has temporarily closed as of Friday, November 20 in response to the recent rise in COVID-19 cases.
As a reminder, USS Constitution (the Ship) is operated separately from the Museum. Visit USS Constitution’s website for more information on visiting the Ship.
The safety of our visitors and staff remains our top priority. As part of our reservation process, all visitors are required to agree to the following safety procedures:
|Wear a face covering over your nose and mouth at all times (Ages 2+)|
|Stay at least 6 feet away from others|
|Wash or sanitize hands frequently|
|Follow Massachusetts’ COVID-19 Travel Order|
|Do not visit if you are experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19|
Ways to Save
The USS Constitution Museum continues to provide free or discounted admission to the individuals, families, and groups listed on our Ways to Save page. If you believe that you qualify, contact our Visitor Services department at email@example.com at least 48-hours prior to reserving your tickets online to receive the appropriate discount code.
Entry to the Museum
Plan to arrive at the USS Constitution Museum within the 30-minute time frame designated on your timed ticket. The USS Constitution Museum is located inside the Charlestown Navy Yard and across from USS Constitution (the Ship). Our Museum’s front entrance has bright red doors.
Cleaning Times & Procedures
Professional cleaners will be frequently cleaning high-touch points throughout the day. The Museum’s HVAC system has also been calibrated to introduce more outside air.
Admission tickets are non-refundable due to space limitations and availability.
Reopening the USS Constitution Museum is partially made possible by a grant from Mass Humanities, which provided funding through the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) as part of the federal CARES Act legislation.
