Visiting the USS Constitution Museum offers a captivating journey into American maritime history. Located in the historic Charlestown Navy Yard in Boston, the Museum provides an immersive experience that highlights the legacy of “Old Ironsides,” the world’s oldest commissioned naval vessel still afloat. Through engaging exhibits, interactive displays, and a wealth of artifacts, visitors can explore the ship’s storied past, its pivotal role in the War of 1812, and the lives of the sailors who served on USS Constitution.
Sail Boston at the Navy Yard – July 11-15, 2026
Visit the Museum during Sail Boston and experience the Tall Ships in Charlestown. On Saturday, July 11, USS Constitution will lead the Parade of Sail as more than 60 ships enter Boston Harbor and return to berths across the waterfront. Ships will be open for public viewing and boarding through Wednesday, July 15. To learn more, visit Sail Boston.

Museum Admission: The Museum has suggested admission tiers of:
Pay it Forward: $25 per person
Standard: $15 per person
Reduced: Free – $10 per person
The Museum is a non-profit organization that relies on donations to keep its door open.
Ship Hours
Regular Hours: Wednesday- Sunday | 10:00 am – 6:00 pm
Ship Admission: The Ship is free to visit on a first come, first serve basis. Constitution is an active-duty ship operated by the U.S. Navy. Please be aware of their security requirements in advance by visiting their site:
