Early Life
Christopher Twisden was born in 1795 in Marblehead, Massachusetts.
Twisden entered USS Constitution as an able seaman on December 8, 1813 at Boston, Massachusetts. He was on the starboard watch on the no.2 gun crew. He was demoted on February 12, 1814 to ordinary seaman. He transferred from USS Constitution on June 1, 1815.
Battles and Engagements
Twisden was on board for the battle with HMS Cyane and HMS Levant.
Twisden was a merchant seaman in 1818, sailing on the schooner Regulator from Marblehead to the West Indies. His date and place of death are unknown.
