Edmond M. Russell was born in Massachusetts.
Russell married Elizabeth Bradshaw on February 8, 1831 in Bath, Maine.
Russell received his warrant on June 18, 1812. His rank was midshipman. He was ordered to USS Chesapeake on October 15, 1812. Russell entered USS Constitution on December 14, 1814 at Boston, Massachusetts. He detached on January 29, 1816. He returned to USS Constitution from April 1, 1821 to August 12, 1824.
Battles and Engagements
Russell was on board for the battle with HMS Cyane and HMS Levant.
Russell died on July 21, 1838 in Bath, Maine.
