Early Life

Edmund Parker was born in 1791 in Marblehead, Massachusetts to Richard Parker and Mary Laptham. His father was a mariner.

Early Experience

Prior to joining the navy, Parker had been a merchant seaman, and sailed on the brig Saucy Jack from Salem to Gibraltar in early 1812.

Parker entered USS Constitution on August 24, 1813 at Boston,Massachusetts. His rank was able seaman. Parker died on June 2, 1815.

Battles and Engagements

Parker was on board for the battle with HMS Cyane and HMS Levant.

Parker died on June 2, 1815.
