Early Life

Edward Storer was born in Biddeford, Maine. His date of birth is not known.

 

Storer entered USS Constitution on October 28, 1812 at Boston, Massachusetts. His rank was able seaman, assigned to the no. 12 gun crew. He transferred from USS Constitution in April, 1813 at Boston, Massachusetts. Storer re-entered USS Constitution on September 22, 1824 at New York, New York. He was promoted on February 17, 1825 to Captain’s Clerk.

Battles and Engagements

Storer was on board USS Constitution for the battle with HMS Java, and was on the schooner Ariel in the Battle of Lake Erie.

Storer’s date and place of death are unknown.
