Sexton transferred to USS Constitution on February 21, 1811. His rank was private. He deserted on May 1, 1812 and returned on June 11, 1812. Sexton transferred from USS Constitution to USS President on March 18, 1813 and deserted two more times before being discharged as unfit for service on December 31, 1820 at New York.
