Jacob Largas’s place and date of birth are not known.
Largas entered USS Constitution as an able seaman on December 8, 1813 at Boston, Massachusetts. He was assigned to the no. 8 gun’s crew, worked the pumps and served as a sail trimmer. Largas transferred from USS Constitution to USS Congress, then at Portsmouth, New Hampshire, on June 1, 1815.
Largas’s date and place of death are unknown.
