Early Experience
Watson received his warrant on March 9, 1802 as boatswain. He served on USS Essex and USS Chesapeake in 1806 and 1807.
Watson entered USS Constitution on July 4, 1813 at Boston, Massachusetts. His rank was boatswain. He was discharged on September 10, 1815.
Battles and Engagements
Watson was on board for the battle with HMS Cyane and HMS Levant.
Watson died on December 31, 1819.
