Henry’s place and date of birth are unknown.

Henry transferred from USS Hornet at Washington, DC on June 6, 1811. He was rated as an able seaman. He left Constitution sometime after February 17, 1813.

Battles and Engagements

During his time on board Constitution , the ship made a diplomatic voyage to France and Holland and also scored victories over HMS Guerriere on August 19, 1812 and HMS Java on December 29, 1812. He received $42.62 ½ and $42.30 in prize money for the two victories. He served as 1st loader at No. 7 long gun during the second engagement.
