Mitchell transferred to USS Constitution on August 4, 1811 at Norfolk, Virginia. His rank was able seaman. He was discharged on March 6, 1812 at Norkfolk, Virginia. Mitchell re-entered USS Constitution on July 17, 1813 at Boston, Massachusetts. He was discharged on July 11, 1815.
