John Munson’s place and date of birth are not known.
Munson transferred from USS Hornet to USS Constitution as an able seaman on July 27, 1811 at Washington D.C.. He was discharged on April 25, 1812, but rejoined the ship on July 1, 1812 at Annapolis, Maryland. Munson departed on February 17, 1813.
