John Ricker’s place and date of birth are not known.
Ricker transferred from USS Hornet to USS Constitution as an able seaman on June 6, 1811 at Washington D.C.. He served as third sponger on gun no. 8. On July 1, 1812, he was demoted to ordinary seaman. He departed USS Constitution on February 17, 1813.
Battles and Engagements
Ricker was on board for the battles with HMS Guerriere and HMS Java.
Ricker’s date and place of death are unknown.
