John Wharf’s place and date of birth are not known.
Wharf entered USS Constitution on August 6, 1813 at Boston, Massachusetts. His rank was able seaman. He deserted on April 15, 1814 at Boston, Massachusetts. A $10 reward for his return was posted in the Newburyport Herald, but there is no indication that he was ever found.
Wharf’s date and place of death are unknown.
