Battles and Engagements
Abbott was on board for the battles with HMS Guerriere and HMS Java . He also participated in taking four British merchant brigs. For each of engagements, Abbott would have received a share of the prize money.
Abbott was discharged on February 17, 1813. His place and date of death is not known.
