Moody Emerson Holden’s place and date of birth are not known.
Holden married Elizabeth Cateret on May 25, 1816.
Holden entered USS Constitution on July 16, 1813 at Boston, Massachusetts. His rank was able seaman, assigned to the afterguard on the larboard watch. He was discharged on June 7, 1815.
Battles and Engagements
Holden was on board for the battles with HMS Cyane and HMS Levant, and the capture of HMS Pictou.
Holden drowned on October 12, 1817 while serving on the brig Commodre Hull.
