Early Life
Richard White’s place and date of birth are not known. In a letter to the Navy in 1812, White “advises that he has not made out, nor authorized, a half pay ticket for Mary White.” It is unknown what Mary White’s relationship may have been.
White transferred to USS Constitution from USS Nautilus on August 4, 1811. His rank was ordinary seaman. He was discharged on February 17, 1813.
Battles and Engagements
White was on board for the battles with HMS Guerriere and HMS Java .
White’s date and place of death are unknown.
