Samuel Parker’s place and date of birth are not known.
Parker transferred from Gunboat 85 to USS Constitution as an able seaman on July 31, 1812 at Boston, Massachusetts. He was on the starboard watch, assigned to the main top station. In battle, he worked the train tackle on gun no. 6. He was discharged on August 1, 1814.

Parker was on board for the battles with HMS Guerriere and HMS Java.
