Thomas B. Tilden’s place and date of birth are not known.
Tilden received his commission on January 1, 1815. His rank was midshipman. He entered USS Constitution on June 22, 1815 at Boston, Massachusetts. In a pension application later in life, he claimed to have been wounded on January 1, 1815. He departed USS Constitution on April, 1816 at Boston, Massachusetts. Tilden rejoined USS Constitution on April 23, 1822 at Port Mahon, Minorca. He resigned on December 20, 1824.
Tilden’s date and place of death are unknown.
