Boozer joined USS Constitution as an ordinary seaman on June 6, 1812. He was assigned to gun no. 1, first division, passing powder.
Battles and Engagements
Boozer was on board during the battles with HMS Guerriere and HMS Java , for which he earned $42.30 and $42.62 1/2 in prize money respectively. He was also on board during the taking of four British merchant brigs, for which he also would have received a share of prize money.
Boozer was discharged from Constitution on February 17, 1813. His place and date of death are unknown.
