Early Life

Thomas Homan was born in 1787 in Marblehead, Massachusetts.

On July 13, 1819, Homan married Sarah Bowden Dolliber in Marblehead, Massachusetts. They had two daughters, Sarah and Elizabeth, both born in 1819

Homan entered USS Constitution on September 20, 1813 at Boston, Massachusetts. His rank was able seaman. He was discharged on September 9, 1815.

Battles and Engagements

Homan was on board for the battles with HMS Cyane and HMS Levant, and the capture of HMS Pictou.

Homan died in Havana, Cuba while serving as a merchant seaman. Pension records disagree on his date of death. It was either 1834 or September, 1820.
