Little enlisted in the Navy on April 27, 1812. Rated an ordinary seaman, he joined Constitution on 5 or May 6, 1812 while the ship was at the Washington Navy Yard. Little deserted on September 20, 1812, soon after the ship returned to Boston.
Battles and Engagements
He participated in the victory over HMS Guerriere on August 19, 1812, but by deserting he forfeited his share of the $50,000 in prize money.
Little’s place and date of death are unknown.
