Thomas Thompson’s place and date of birth are not known.
Thompson enlisted on June 29, 1812. His rank was able seaman. He transferred from gunboat 81 to USS Constitution on August 2, 1812. He was promoted on November 26, 1813 to boatswain’s yeoman, and went from being second captain to being first captain of the no. 7 gun crew. Thompson was discharged on July 5, 1814 at Boston.

Thompson was on board for the battles with HMS Guerriere and HMS Java.
Thompson’s date and place of death are unknown.
