Early Life

Thomas Trask was born in 1792 in Salem, Massachusetts.

Trask married Eliza Treadwell. They had four sons and three daughters.

Trask entered USS Constitution as an able seaman on September 10, 1813 at Boston, Massachusetts. He was on the starboard watch, assigned to the main top. He was the first loader on gun no. 2. On October 18, 1814, he was court-martialed for desertion. He was found guilty and sentenced to 30 lashes. He transferred to ex-HMS Cyane on February 20, 1815.

Battles and Engagements

Trask was on board for the battle with HMS Cyane and HMS Levant.

Trask later became a merchant in Salem. His date and place of death are unknown.
