Early Life
Zenas Young was born in 1792 in Barnstable County, Massachusetts.
He married Hannah Ary on December 23, 1826, but she died the next year. On December 8, 1830, he married Polly Eddy. They had four sons and two daughters.
Young entered USS Constitution on July 7, 1813 at Boston, Massachusetts. His rank was ordinary seaman. He was discharged on July 5, 1815.
Battles and Engagements
Young was on board for the battle with HMS Cyane and HMS Levant.
Young died on February 9, 1874 in Chatham, Massachusetts.
