He is the co-author of Call Sign Chaos, a clear-eyed account of learning how to lead in a chaotic world. Gen. Mattis will join us for a virtual talk and Q&A session focused on leadership and public service.

The USSCM’s Leadership Speaker Series brings together a diverse group to hear the perspectives of today’s leaders on current events. These talks are also an opportunity for a constructive civilian and military discussion. The LT William S. Bush Memorial Lecture honors the memory of LT William S. Bush, the first U.S. Marine Corp officer to die in combat, while serving aboard USS Constitution in the War of 1812.
