Join us for a festive commemoration of Greek Independence Day with the USS Constitution Museum and Maliotis Cultural Center of the Hellenic College Holy Cross.

Enjoy an afternoon of music, dance, Greek cuisine, and conversation, and discover a meaningful historical connection between Greek Independence and USS Constitution. This program will open with a welcome from Consul General Symeon Tegos, followed by a brief historical discussion with Dr. Nicholas Ganson, Dean of Hellenic College, and Carl Herzog, USS Constitution Museum Public Historian, on Constitution’s connections to Greek Independence.

You’ll also experience performances by the Saint Romanos Choir of HCHC and the Metropolis of Boston Dance Group. After the program, stay for a reception featuring Greek cuisine.

Make the most of your visit: Guests are encouraged to arrive at the Navy Yard to visit USS Constitution and explore the USS Constitution Museum galleries before the program begins.

This event is free and includes Museum admission. USS Constitution is managed by the United States Navy; all visitors are required to present a valid Federal or State-issued photo ID to board the ship. The Ship is subject to changes in schedule and is currently open to the public until 4 pm. We encourage you to visit the Ship’s website for further details and updates.
