At the Helm: A Conversation with USS Nantucket Leadership

Join us for a conversation with the leadership of the U.S. Navy’s newest ship, USS Nantucket

On Tuesday, November 12, the USS Constitution Museum is honored to host a public panel discussion featuring the Commanding Officer, Executive Officer, and Senior Enlisted Leader of USS Nantucket. A Freedom-class Littoral Combat Ship (LCS), USS Nantucket will be formally commissioned in the Charlestown Navy Yard on November 16. This free public event is a unique opportunity to hear directly from the leadership triad before the commissioning ceremony. In addition to excitement surrounding the new vessel, the panelists will share lessons in leadership and from their professional journeys. Following the panel discussion, attendees will have the opportunity to ask their own questions in a brief Q&A.

Panelists at this event include USS Nantucket Commanding Officer, CDR Kari Yakubisin, USN, Executive Officer, CDR Angela A. Eickelmann, USN, and Senior Enlisted Leader, CMDCS Esmelin Villar, USN.

There will be a pre-panel reception with light refreshments generously supported by the Nantucket Commissioning Committee beginning at 5:00pm.
