Commemorate 250 years of the United States Navy where its story meets Boston Harbor. Spend the weekend at the Museum with activities for all ages. Putt your way through the Navy’s history, build your own ship to race; and help encourage the next generation of sailors by writing a letter of encouragement to recruits. We’ll extend the celebration to Monday, to welcoming you to see the latest additions to the Naval archives in our Museum Collection.

Write A Letter of Encouragement

Encourage the next generation of sailors by writing a letter of encouragement to recruits in the 10-week bootcamp at Naval Station Great Lakes.

Take the “Built to Win” Challenge

President George Washington needs you to build one of the country’s 1st naval ships. Design, build, and test your own mini ship’s strength and speed. Are you up for the challenge?

Explore the Museum’s Artifacts of the Early U.S. Navy
Location: USS Constitution Museum
Timing: Monday, 3:00 pm- 4:00 pm
We’re opening the vaults to provide you with a rare show and tell of the Museum’s newest acquisitions on the early U.S. Navy. Explore manuscripts and firsthand writings from the Navy’s earliest development, with select items from the recently gifted Collection of Vice Admiral George Emery. It is an up-close look at the documents that shaped a service and a nation.
