Join us for a movie night like no other at “Old Ironsides.”
Summer Movie Nights at “Old Ironsides” continues with a free showing of the epic Disney animated film Moana at USS Constitution!
The doors open at 7:20pm and the film will begin at 8:20pm. Before the movie begins, guests will have a chance to hear from the Museum’s educators and participate in hands-on activities. It is an evening you won’t want to miss!
“Old Ironsides’” crew screens each film on a projector for guests with the Ship as a backdrop. Seating is on the pier on a first-come, first-served basis. The Ship itself will not be open for visiting.
General seating will be available, though guests are encouraged to bring chairs or blankets for viewing. Small bags, food, and drinks are permitted. Alcohol is not permitted. Guests ages 18 and up will be asked to show a photo I.D. and pass through a security screening.
This film is rated PG due to scary images and brief thematic elements where characters face perilous situations on the sea: They are occasionally knocked overboard, shipwrecked and abandoned, as well as face turbulent weather.
The Summer Movie Night screenings will continue with Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest on Friday, September 8.
This event is made possible in part by a Sustaining the Humanities through the American Rescue Plan grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities
