USS Constitution Museum Offers Free Admission to All Federal Employees during Government Shutdown

CHARLESTOWN, MA (January 11, 2019)—The USS Constitution Museum is offering free admission to all federal employees and accompanying family members for the duration of the government shutdown. Visitors can redeem this offer with a valid, Federal Government I.D.

“We appreciate those who, day-in and day-out, serve our nation, just as Constitution’s sailors have for more than 220 years.” says Anne Grimes Rand, president of the Museum. “Though our admission is donation based we want our dedicated public servants to feel welcome during these times of uncertainty.”

Through interactive exhibits visitors to the USS Constitution Museum have an opportunity to explore the beginning of the United States Navy and reflect on the founding values of our nation.

The Museum is open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. USS Constitution, America’s Ship of State, is open Wednesday to Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and is free to visitors with a government-issued I.D.
