USS Constitution Museum Opens Model Ship Show
CHARLESTOWN, MA (January 31, 2020)—From February 1-29, the USS Constitution Museum presents the special exhibit, Masters of Miniature: Model Ship Show. The exhibit, open to all visitors during regular Museum hours, showcases over 40 exquisite handcrafted models of all types created by modelers from the USS Constitution Model Shipwright Guild. Modelers will be in the exhibit daily to answer questions and demonstrate the craft of model building. Visitors can vote for their favorite model.
The Masters of Miniature: Model Ship Show is sponsored by the Boston Marine Society.
February School Vacation week attendees can also participate in the LEGO® Maritime Festival from February 15-23. Families and other LEGO® enthusiasts are invited to build their own ships using LEGO® and DUPLO® Bricks.
The Museum is currently open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Admission is by suggested donation.
