The USS Constitution Museum looks forward to wowing our guests with great hands-on experiences as we share the stories of ‘Old Ironsides’ and her dedicated crew, both past and present.”

USS Constitution is underway today in Boston Harbor and celebrating its reopening this afternoon. The cruise is streaming on Facebook Live on the U.S. Navy’s page. “Old Ironsides” will be open Friday-Sunday, 10 a.m.-6 p.m.

The USS Constitution Museum is open this weekend, 10 a.m.-5 p.m., and it will be open daily for the summer beginning on Thursday, May 27. During Memorial Day weekend, Museum visitors can craft a poppy—a symbol of remembrance—to honor a fallen military service member in their life or share a message of gratitude and add it to our memorial poppy garden. The completed poppies will be featured in a Memorial Day ceremony on board USS Constitution.

The Museum continues to offer virtual content and engaging digital experiences to visitors at home. This initiative includes robust outreach with videos, blog posts, collection highlights, and more. Every day the Virtual Museum shares dynamic content through its social media channels, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and the website usscm.org. The Museum also offers online visitors A Sailor’s Life for Me, an award-winning dynamic game and educator resource that gives people of all ages a chance to step into the shoes of an 1812 sailor.
